April showers bring Jeff Soto to the cover of Juxtapoz. The man just finished off a museum show in Riverside, and will be London with Stolenspace Gallery this May, so its timely the man graces the newest cover of Jux. We also go across the pond with features on Chloe Early and Word to Mother, two up and coming stars of the new UK scene. Staying in Europe, Stelios Faitakis, a Greek artist, creates some of the most mind-boggling fine art in world today (think Byzantine x WTO riots), and we got him in this issue as well. On the graffiti scene, we touch base with the new star of LA, Augor. And, in one of our favorite features of all time, we speak with Balkrisha Arts of Mumbai about being the last hand-painted Bollywood poster studios in operation. Worldwide representation is the theme of April 2009. The issue also has Boogie, Vhils, Yoshitomo Nara, John Van Hammersveld, Zevs, Kota Etawa, Aya Kato, Chris Kline, Aiyana Udesen, Catalina Estrada, Gerardo Monterrubio, Will Sweeney, Canvas Los Angeles Gallery, and a new Lil’ Wayne x Katie Couric tribute by Munk One.
