One such case, the murder of Superintendent Kuroiwa's ex-wife, has Officer Asako reliving her life in his dreams. And since it appears the only way to pull him out of such a dream is to be touched, Kuroiwa orders him to move in temporarily so he can always be close at hand. But sharing the same space-and the same bed-has Kuroiwa thinking less about his failed marriage and more about his awkward, shy subordinate.
