Cyclops and Jean Grey enter the fictional world of an incredibly powerful, hitherto unknown mutant in this tragic stand-alone story. This was the only time the characters appeared in these costumes, designed by artist Liam Sharp. The story is peppered with symbols that relate to the mutants lost son and husband – a sun and moon respectively. The world the mutant Sunset Grace has created is drawn without regular panel boarders to promote a sense of other-worldliness. There also features a giant stone carving of Death’s Head II near the end of the issue, Sharp’s farewell to the title that launched him in the US.
